Introducing the LAUNCH DFW Switchboard

What does your startup need right now?

We’ve been asking this question across Twitter and Facebook recently to encourage conversation amongst our community. What is community, after all, if not helping each other out when we can?

What do you need? What can you offer to someone?

I was having this exact conversation with Jennifer Conley the other day at the DEC Ambassador meeting. So many people want to help and have time/skills/etc to offer but they don’t know the best way to get involved.

Someone hass got be solving that problem right? Yes!

Introducing Switchboard

Switchboard is a startup based in Portland, OR that is building a platform that tackles this very issue. They’ve been kind enough to let us in on their beta and we’ve just set up the LAUNCH DFW Switchboard.

The Switchboard is a place to post to the community what you need, or what you have to offer.

Need help on your business plan? Advice on pitching investors? Question about what technology to use? Are you an experienced entrepreneur and want to share your advice? Designer available for hire? These are the types of things you can post on the switchboard.

The LAUNCH DFW Switchboard is a resource for the community to start these conversations. You can access it directly at or we’ve also included a link in the main navigation of this site.

Let’s collaborate and build more awesome companies!
