Applications for Tech Wildcatters Due Friday

Applications for the next cohort of Tech Wildcatters are due this coming Friday.

Tech Wildcatters, while one of many seed accelerator programs out there, is uniquely focused on B2B companies. If you’ve been considering applying to a seed accelerator and have a B2b focused business then definitely check out the Tech Wildcatters program.

Need a quick refresher on what the heck a seed accelerator is?

Programs like Tech Wildcatters invest a small amount of seed capital (generally ~$20,000) in exchange for ~6% equity in a company. They then put the selected companies through a 3 month program that is essentially a “boot camp” for technology startups.

Companies receive mentorship from a large stable of experienced entrepreneurs and businesspeople and the opportunity to demo their companies in front of a large crowd of potential investors/customers/partners at the end of the program.

The Tech Wildcatters portfolio has two exits (Key Ring and Proxomo) with many of the other companies still going strong. Recent TW graduate Validic even closed an investment from Mark Cuban.

So in summary, you have nothing to lose and much to gain. You can apply to Tech Wildcatters via Angel List.
